Arbrea Labs is a spin-off company from ETH, originating from the Computer Graphics Laboratory at ETH Zurich. We are a team of experts in computer graphics, vision, and artificial intelligence, developing cutting-edge solutions for aesthetic surgery. Our daily tasks range from 3D reconstruction and tracking to AR/VR, focusing on the latest advancements in Deep Learning, Geometry Processing, and Rendering applied to human bodies. We are looking to expand our team with key individuals who have a strong desire to learn and engage in a dynamic start-up environment. We are primarily interested in full-time candidates but are also open to internship positions with the possibility of transitioning to a permanent role.

Job Description

As a Full Stack Web Developer at Arbrea Labs, you will bridge the gap between our mobile applications and customer data, playing a key role in enabling our clients and internal teams to seamlessly access and interact with critical information.

You will have a significant influence on shaping the patient-surgeon relationship, giving you and the team the opportunity to become a global leader in AR/VR medical technology.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and Develop APIs to support Arbrea’s mobile applications and web interfaces, ensuring seamless integration and functionality.
• Empower Other Teams by maintaining and enhancing internal tools, automating processes, and optimizing pipelines to streamline customer data management and support client acquisition efforts.
• Oversee and Optimize Cloud Infrastructure to ensure reliability, scalability, and performance.
• Implement Robust Security Measures to safeguard customer data, maintaining high standards of privacy and security.

Core Technologies

• Our main infrastructure is built with Node.js, TypeScript, and NoSQL databases.
• Some tasks will involve PHP, MySQL, and developing functional web UIs focused on usability.
• You will work with Git and Docker and should have a strong understanding of cloud computing fundamentals.
• Additionally, you may have opportunities to work with Python, GoogleSQL, and modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React), though these are not mandatory.

While our primary stack defines much of the environment, we empower you to select the right tools for each task, providing the flexibility to explore and use other languages or frameworks when appropriate.
