Dr. Shih graduated with honors from Stanford University in 2012 with a degree in Molecular Biology, and subsequently earned his medical degree from the Stony Brook University School of Medicine in New York. After that, he returned to the West Coast to complete a six year surgical residency in Plastic Surgery at the University of Washington in Seattle, perennially ranked as one of the nation’s top training programs. During his residency, Dr. Shih trained extensively in the full breadth of Plastic Surgery, developing expertise in complex microsurgical reconstruction after cancer, breast reconstruction, complex hand and craniofacial trauma reconstruction, and aesthetic rejuvenation of the face, breast, and body.

Beyond his clinical expertise, Dr. Shih is committed to enhancing patient care through innovation and personalized service.
